Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC, PwD & other reserved categories) in either Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities / Commerce, OR Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC, PwD & other reserved categories), or any other equivalent qualification, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed course.
• The candidate shall have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which he/she must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% marks in that subject. This subject will henceforth be referred to as the Teaching Subject in the B.Ed course.
• There is no restriction on the passing year to apply for the B.Ed course.
• Students in the final year of the Bachelor's/Master's programme shall also be eligible to apply for B.Ed admission; however, their candidature shall be subject to the submission of the final result at the time of admission and fulfilling the percentage criteria mentioned in Clause 4.1.
